wf_notifications with status=open and mail_status=mail remains in table if recipient_role does not h

Hello all,

We have upgraded EBS from 12.0.6 to 12.1.3 and since then, all notifications in wf_notifications with status=open and mail_status=mail which has recipient_role without email address remain in the table.

Before upgrade, it seems that even notifications with recipient_role without email_address associated to them had the mail_status value changed to null.

Anyone knows if the behaviour of notification mail has changed between 12.0.6 and 12.1.3?

If this is a new behaviour then all notifications which has destination who doesn´t have email address registered will remain in wf_notifications.

In consequence, all those notifications will not be purged at all. Is this the current functioning of wf notifications?
