Disable Related Applications Region in Email notifications without customization

 Hi,

I would like to know if there is way to hide "Related applications region" in the email notifications. We can hide this inside application using personalization. However, the feature doesn't carry over to outlook emails. 
Some of our Links in this region aren't working and we have SRs with Oracle on the same. As a temporary relief to our users, we would like to hide these links from employee's emails.
From my research so far, this can be accomplished from within workflow builder, but that's considered customization.

Can we achieve this using functional setup/mailer configuration etc not having to get into Workflow builder?
