Hot plug 10Gb NIC PCIE Slot M4000

I have successfully Hot-Installed FC HBAs on my M4000, but now I have a task to upgrade to a 10GB Ethernet Adapter.  After looking at the Oracle install guide this does not seem to difficult to plumb the interface. 

I am wondering if anyone has Hot-Installed a 10GB NIC and successfully plumbed it without having to reboot.
