Value of TM_RESTARTSRVTIMEOUT change to fix App Server crash

Our Application Server crashed.  At the suggestion of MOS, I increased the value of TM_RESTARTSRVTIMEOUT from 60 to 180.  We are running in an AIX environment.  Has anyone else had this experience?  Did changing this value resolve the issue?
