PeopleTools 8.53 release date? Any news from Oracle Open World?

We are going to be upgrading our PeopleSoft systems next year.  My boss wants me to get started ASAP but I told him we should wait till PeopleTools 8.53 is released.  I see there was a session at OOW on October 1 by Jeff Robbins entitled "PeopleSoft Technology Road Map" (sadly I could not attend OOW this year).  Did anyone attend this session?  Did he say anything about the release date of 8.53?  Could someone send me the powerpoint from the session?  (CON9183).  I'd really like to know when we might expect the release.
