Best practices -- Creating attrbitutes for an objectclass

Hi
Is there any best practice regarding the OID structure ?

Customer is asking for best practices  to add new attributes on entries like cn=Users

They have to add some attributes for each user and they don't know if it is better to create them in the organizationalperson object, for instance or where..
