How do you control changes to public Queries used as input into Archive Manager

We are currently using PTools V8.51 with CSS V9.0.  We are in the process of implementing our first "Proof of Concept" using Archive Manager to archive STDNT_FA_TERM and the 2 related child tables (FA_FATERM_AUDIT and FA_FATERM_CLASS).  I have started to create a query (with Query Type = "Archive") so that this query can be used as input into this new Archive Manager process.  Query Manager will not allow you to save the query with Query Type = Archive unless this query is also defined as a "Public" query.

Do you have any advice on how schools control these types of public queries that are used as input into Archive Manager to ensure that others do not make unwanted tweeks to these queries?  If these archive queries are changed, it could cause improper selection of rows for the archival process.

Howdy, Stranger!
