Application designer is closing while opening a project from file

Hi,

We are using 8.50 tools for HRMS 9.10.00.000 application. In application designer, when we are copying project from file, designer is closing unexpectedly.

Project is taken from different environment. Please tell me why designer is closing in that fashion??
