Printing DataMatrix barcodes from SQR

We have a requirement to print a DataMatrix barcode from a SQR. We tried installing a GUN2X2 font on the AIX server where our process scheduler is hosted but when we send the file to the printer, we do not see the font being applied. Has anyone printed the DataMatrix 2-D barcode using an SQR? We are on Tools PT 8.52.06.
