OIM 9.1.0.2: Password warning and expiration tasks

I'm attempting to use OIM 9.1.0.2's Password Expiration and Password Warning scheduled tasks to notify users (via e-mail) when their passwords are about to expire.  The tasks have already been running, but the e-mail definition was gone.  In working on that, I noticed that the USR_PWD_WARNED, USR_PWD_EXPIRED, _USR_PWD_WARN_DATE, and USR_PWD_EXPIRE_DATE fields in the USR table are all null.  Is this normal?  Should the Password Expiration and Password Warning tasks still work if this is the case?  Thanks in advance.
