Advanced Collections Roles and Groups

Hello,

We are currently implementating Advanced Collections on version 12.0.6.

Just had a question with regards to Collection Roles and Groups.

Is it necessay to assign a Collections role (i.e. Collections Agent, Collections Manager) to a user of Advanced Collections? What is the purpose of it? What does it drive?

Further from this, do Collections groups need to be setup?

It appears that you don't need a Collections Role to be able to use Advanced Collections so was just wondering does this need be setup as part of the implementation.
