Regarding customization of FA Account Generator

Hi Team,

I need to customize FA Account Generator.

I have to deriving values for few segments.

Although it is R12, the client does not want to use the SLA option.

I noticed that there are hidden attributes like FND_FLEX_SEGMENTS.

Can I create a custom process and use FND_FLEX_SEGMENTS within a custom function?

If it is not possible, what is the method to customize to FA Account Generator

Please advise me how to proceed on the same.
