Req: Regarding Workflow notification mailer configuration steps

Hi Experts,
I am completely new to the R12.1.1 application now i have plan to configure the SMTP and IMAP and workflow notification mailer to my instance.

Could you please suggest me the OS level and SMTP and IMAP, Workflow notification mailer configuration Step by step doc. i will confiurte go through that steps.
