How to reference more that one workflow for a mailer

In the correlation ID field of a mailer you can specify the work flow item type or workflow item type and messages

the documentation suggest the syntax as ITEM_TYPE:%  for item type

ITEM_TYPE:MESSAGE% fo specific message in an item type

My question is when you want to have multiple workflow item types

Is there any separator between one item type and the other

ITEM_TYPE1:%ITEM_TYPE2:%

Does anyone has an example of a mailer for multiple workflow item types
