Questions on PeopleTools only Upgrade from 8.48 to 8.51

Hello

One of our cleints wants to upgrade their Tools from 8.48 to 8.51. Basically they want to upgrade the Database which is on MSSQL 2000 to MSSQL 2008(They Choose MSSQL Server to be implemented across their company. PeopleSoft is one of their system). So, they wanted to be on the latest stable PeopleTools Release(PT 8.51)

Here are their environment details

Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003 32 bit

PeopleTools: 8.48

Application :8.9 FSCM        Comments: I Checked Cerifications and 8.9 is certified with 8.51

Database Version: MSSQL Server 2000- 8.00.2055( Intel X86)

Weblogic Server: 8.1.5.0

Tuxedo: 8.1

Please share your views on doing this upgrade with the above specifications
