OBIEE 11g SSL vs WNA

Hello All,
We are currently in the process of implementing OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0 using Windows Native Authentication by Kerberos protocol  and Authorization using custom security tables which matches the roles from EBS. In our development all configurations worked and application users are able to login without entering any credentials.

Now when we are moving this setup to our Prod instances, our security team is asking if we should setup SSL over this WNA ( Windows Native Authnetication ) SSO for OBIEE. So my questions here is to whether we should also setup SSL over Kerberos based OBIEE SSO.?

I know both Kerberos and SSL are protocols while SSL being strictly being an encrpytion protocal and kerberos being authentication and also encryption protocol , can both of these be used together on top of each other ? If so what are the advantages in doing it.?

Howdy, Stranger!
