Work items getting escalated immediately when strategy is assigned

Hi there,

I have strategy with 3 work items of which it is made up as follows:

1. Phone client

2. Send automated e-mail

3. Phone client again

My setup is such that the work items should escalate after 2 days if not attended to by collector. My problem however is such that when the strategy is assigned the work item is immediately escalated! I just cannot figure why this is.

Anybody out there that possibly assist or advise?
