Occasional System:Error in HXCEMP customized workflow in Supervisor Approval Function

Hello,

We occasionally get a System:Error in our customized HXCEMP workflow, from a function that gets the supervisor to send the approval to.  We then resubmit the workflow, and it goes through correctly.  The user and the supervisor appear to be set up correctly, and the fact that the workflow resubmits, suggest that this is not the problem.

The Workflow Background process logs and outputs for the time the workflow started do not have any errors, and the OAM –> Workflow -> Work Items – has no errors related to this workflow item.  The “System: Error” appears to be normal.  It shows up on Completed workflows too.
