Is it possible to suppress the ssl certificate check when calling an external webservice?

Hi,
I couldn't find information in the books/knowledge base.

I'm trying to implement job opening posting to an external jobboard vendor through PS OIF. On the vendors test system the ssl certificate information don't match the actual ip so I suppose calling the vendors webservice is not working because of a certificate error. Is there a way to suppress the integration broker certificate check for that certain node/connector or in general?
