Plumbing up second IPMP group lose connectivity to server ( Solaris 11 )

 I'm working on a T4-1 and creating 2 ipmp groups. 1 for the hypervisor and 1 for the logical domains to use. 
When bringing the second ipmp group online I lose connectivity to the server and can no longer ssh in. 

ipadm create-ipmp ipmp1 
ipadm create-ip net2
ipadm create-ip net3
ipadm add-ipmp -i net2 -i net3 ipmp1
ipadm create-addr -T static -a ipmp1-data1 ipmp1/data1 ( this is where I lose my connectivity ) 
ipadm set-ifprop -p standby=on -m ip net3
