Strange process Scheduler behavior for PeopleTools 8.49.11

 Hi,
We are on PeopleTools 8.49.11 and HRMS 9.0 MP4 / Oracle 10.2.0.3/ Solaris 5.10 SPARC (64-bit). The strange behavior is:

The process scheduler process start going into queued status.

Analysis:
The "server status" tab of the process monitor page shows server status as running.
Clicking on refresh a few times changes the process status from running to down
At the server OS level, the process status shows as running.

During this entire time, the process scheduler logs are not updated at all. The only workaround seem to be bouncing the process scheduler that fixes the issue temporarily.


Any clues?
