Apache Reverse Proxy Server

We have had for years based on PeopleSoft Guidelines been running an Apache Reverse Proxy Server to load balance between PIA's and to get Integration broker to work properly.  After upgrading to tools 8.51.17 reports stopped confirming that they were distributed.   I have actually simplified down the Reverse Proxy rule set to just using mod_proxy with proxy rewrite rules and still it will not confirm the distribution of reports.  Everything else works fine.  It actually distributes the reports to the repository it just never confirms the distribution.  Has anyone else ran into this issue?  Anyone else using mod_proxy and Apache
