Mechanism to notify for any scheduled Job completion.

Hi,
Could anyone let me know if there is any delivered peoplesoft mechanism to send out a notification for any scheduled job completion. We have a job which runs on a specified date defined under a recurrence. That recurrence were defined for a year. During the transition of an associate, it was missed out to reset the recurrence of the job after completion of the recurrence and it was not running for a month. If there is any delivered mechanism to notify for any scheduled Job set under a recurrence, then it will be very helpful.

Please suggest if there is any mechanism to cure this problem.
