New Receivables Unique Constraint Guided Resolution [1530917.1]

.Guided Resolutions (aka Search Helpers) are knowledge resources created to help customers find a resolution to an issue by guiding them from the problem, through the possible scenarios and symptoms, to the proposed solution(s).

In our new AR Unique Constraint Guided Resolution [ Note 1530917.1 ] here is an example case:

  • Customer has a Unqiue Constraint problem (usually, a process abends at a step and the trace file error log shows 'Unique Constraint')
  • Customer selects a Scenario (out of 6 predefined scenarios) e.g. ARUPDATE Process
  • Customer selects a Symptom e.g. Step AR_PGG_SERV Abend
  • The system will display all Knowledge Notes relevant to the Scenario/Symptom (or Process/Step) e.g. ARUPDATE Abends at Step AR_PGG_SERV...with Unique Constraint error messages and their resolutions (code fix, setup, data checks, etc.).
