Oracle provider for OLE DB does not appear under Data Sources in Windows Server 2008

I have a 64-bit Windows Server 2008 running a 64-bit Oracle 11.2.0.1 database.  I'm trying to get Excel (32-bit) to communicate with the database, but get an error "Oracle Client components not found, install oracle client".  I have installed Oracle Client 11.2.0.3 (64-bit), both the Instant Client and the Runtime Client trying to get "Oracle provider for OLE DB" to appear under Data Sources so that maybe Excel would recognize it.  No go.  Could be that I need a 32-bit driver, so I'm looking at the ODAC downloads (32-bit and 64-bit).

I did get a good "Test Connection" using "Microsoft OLE DB provider for Oracle" under Data Sources (the database is running on the local machine, from a different drive).  I'm not sure at this point which version of ODAC I need, whether 11.2.0.3 client is a problem with an 11.2.0.1 database.  The XCOPY version of ODAC is smaller (50Mb), but the OUI version seems like the way to go.  I don't want any developer tools, I just want the driver that Excel (32-bit) recognizes.  Any info appreciated.

Howdy, Stranger!
