Need to delete email notifications that are in the que

Hi All

Is there a way to delete email notifications that are setting in the que.  i am trying to test the notifications but dont want to send out the 2000 that are setting in the que.  the listener and mailer have been down so want to confirm that they wont send out the notifications when i start these up
