Integration of OIF 11gR2 and OAM 10.1.4.3 BP09

We have a an existing OAM setup in our security infrastructure here.
OAM Version: 10.1.4.3 BP09.
Currently we are looking to upgrade to the Oracle Fusion Middleware Suite (11gR2).
Once we have this upgrade setup, we plan to have a federation implementation in which we will be the identity provider (IdP).
I have been reading up the documentation of 11gR2 and saw the below excerpt:

SP-Mode and IdP-Mode Functionality
11g Release 2 (11.1.2) provides federation service provider or SP-mode functionality integrated with Access Manager. If you need identity provider (IdP-mode) functionality, however, you must use Oracle Identity Federation 11.1.1.
So if the above is true, we will need to setup OIF 11gR1 in our infrastructure to enable use to be identity providers. So the OIF product has not had an upgrade to 11gR2?0
