Magic Bullet to encypt FTP Data

Good day,

I understand we could use PeopleSoft Encryption Technology (PET) to encrypt files that are produced on our SFTP server. From what I understand, we would have to modify
every program we run to produced encrypted output.

We tried looking at LANcrypt to encrypt the file system but ran into programs when we tried to intergrate that with Peopletools.

Has anyone tried encrypting data produced on the FTP server and can you share your advice /.experiences?
