WF Mailer Not running

Hi All,
We observed that the workflow mailer stopped and got alert that it was not running in the morning. However , it started automatically and running fine.
Not sure what exactly caused and also need to find configuration to identify the no.of seconds to retry for auto start etc.,
Management wants to find rca for this. am new to this wf  technology. so, please somebody guide with complete steps to troubleshoot to find what caused this failure , how frequent the retry happens 

Based on initial analysis, following are message i could see in FNDCPGSC file
