Tuxedo9.1 Error - Installer user interface mode not Supported

Hi,

As a part of Peoplesoft installation, I am trying to install Tuxedo 9.1 on Linux x86_64 for PT 8.49, but i get below error :

awk: cmd. line:6: warning: escape sequence `\.' treated as plain `.'

 Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported

 Unable to load and to prepare the installer in console or silent mode.

Also, when i do java -version command on my machine i see below response..

java -version

java version "1.6.0"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build pxa6460sr9fp2-20110625_01(SR9 FP2))

IBM J9 VM (build 2.4, JRE 1.6.0 IBM J9 2.4 Linux amd64-64 jvmxa6460sr9-20110624_85526 (JIT enabled, AOT enabled)
