OAM ImportPolicy Failure

Hi guys,

I followed Oracle's advice as given below to export and import policies from OAM. The exportpolicy part extracts everything to a.xml file. After updating the .xml file with some changes, I then import it back to OAM using the importpolicy cmd via WLST. However, this has caused OAM Admin & Managed svrs to fail and die. Many attempts being made to revive the system but to no available. Eventually, we have to resort to restoring OAM databases before things resumed normal operation.

Why is OAM so vulnerable ? Or is there something that I need to do to make things right ?
