PeopleSoft install on Linux servers and the linux id used

Hi,

I am installing PeopleSoft HCM9.2 and PeopleTools 8.53 with all other components needed like Tuxedo, Weblogic, JDK, Cobol Compiler etc. on our new Red Hat Linux servers. I am using a generic local system account - psoft for doing all these installations and configurations.

But my Linux admin told me that for SOX/PCI compliance, she needs to lock the "psoft" account once I am done with installations. And then if we want to use these components going forward, she will create sudo rules for our individual ids.

Will it work ? Once psoft account gets locked, won't it create issues when our different PeopleSoft components will run ?

Howdy, Stranger!
