I am creating an HCM 9.2 demo database with PT 8.53.  The PT installation manual is very confusing about running the scripts to create tablespaces.  Do I need to run both ptddl.sql and hcddl.sql?  I cannot find any documentation on why it would be necessary to run both of them.  The remarks in the ptddl.sql file say that this script creates tablespaces for a PT8 PTDMO database.  Are they referring to the system database that you would only need if creating outside applications using PeopleTools?
