Virtual networking switches are indeed equivalent in speed to infiniband QDR 4x (40Gbps)?

I've always noticed that vnics operate at 9000 MTU by default.
But I haven't noticed that link speed were being delivered at 40000 Mbps.
I think that's equivalent to infiniband QRD 4x performance, isn't it?
$ dladm show-vnic
LINK                OVER         SPEED  MACADDRESS        MACADDRTYPE       VID
s11x.01.l0          sw0          40000  2:8:20:3d:87:16   random            0
s11.01.l0           sw0          40000  2:8:20:e1:41:ff   random            0
s11.01.z00.l0       sw0          40000  2:8:20:a9:6d:b3   random            0

Does etherstubs also operate at that speed rate?
I still haven't found a way to check this.

If so and I'm not wrong, I'd say this is great for advanced datacenter simulations and usage.

Thanks in advance.
