Pre requisites for PUM images on Oracle VM Virtual box

 Hi All,

Could someone throw some light on the host operating system requirements for Peoplesoft Update manager images for Virtual box.
I am mainly looking for the options available for host operating system. The document - Using Oracle VM VirtualBox Appliances for PeopleSoft Applications (PeopleSoft Update Manager Home Page [ID 1464619.1] ) mentions that the host operating system must be a 64-bit Microsoft Windows version that is supported by the PeopleSoft PeopleTools client utilities. However Virtual box has Windows,LInux and Solaris versions.

Will the PUM images work on Linux/Solaris. Has anyone tried it on Linux/Solaris so far.
