PT 8.53 Install

Greetings,I am installing PT 8.53. I am following the installation instructions for Oracle.
I am on Chapter 6B Creating a Database on Unix.
I updated the sql scripts provided to create the database and ran them successfully.
I am at task 6B-2 Running the Database Configuration Wizard.
I ran the setup.sh under PS_HOME/setup/PsMpDbInstall installing the Demo option.
I am not sure if the step completed successfully. I do not see any PeopleTools or Application tables.
I don't believe the data mover scripts were run.

the log file PeopleTools_InstallLog.log has some errors in it: Too many open files
