Intergration of PeopleTools 8.53.02 to Oracle SES

I'm configuring the integration of PeopleTools 8.53.02 to Oracle SES on my demo workstation. After installing Oracle SES, I configure SES based on PeopleSoft PeopleTools installation guide. I can login successfully to SES and perform the configuration. However when I come to step Defining a search instance in the PeopleSoft system steps I'm not able to ping to the SES server. I hit this error "Integration Gateway - External System Contact Error (158,10721) Integration Gateway was not able to contact the external system.  The network location specified may be incorrect, or the site is permanently or temporarily down." I've tried
