Question  :  Do  we  need 32 bit  or  64 bit  Oracle Client  with  Peopletools 8.53?

Answer:

Starting with 8.53, the PeopleTools application and batch servers are now 64 bit applications.  but some batch server components are still 32 bit. So application server  uses    64 bit  Oracle database client  and  batch servers uses both 32 and 64 bit Oracle database clients. The PeopleTools 8.53 Windows client is still a 32 bit application, and therefore  a 32 bit database client is required

Howdy, Stranger!
