OAM vs OIM

 Hello,
I am planning the installation of FMW 11.1.1.7  with Portal WebCenter and Forms and Reports.  I want local SSO capability, meaning that once the user can logged into the Portal, there is no need to log in for the Forms application or other links (as long as they have authorization).  I do not need enterprise-wide single sign-on.

Oracle support told me I will need Oracle Access Management 11g.

I see a note in  fmw-11gr1certmatrix:   "Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports integration with Oracle Access Management 11gR1 is only supported in Oracle Forms 11gR2 and Oracle Reports 11gR2"

My question is:  which product will I need to install?  I see documentation for "Oracle Identity and Access management".  Is OAM part of OIM?  Is there documentation that shows a birds-eye view of how these product work together?
