SITMAIN batch

I have a question concerning the SITMAIN.PC program.   According to the Oracle documentation in the Operations Guide - Batch Overviews and Designs the SITMAIN batch job will delete SIT_DETAIL records after they have processed.  We have yet to see this.  We have records in this table with a process date from the date we started.   Has anyone else experienced this?  And if so what did to you do to resolve it.
