pscbo_stats - are there any special considerations for tables with function-based indexes in oracle

pscbo_stats - are there any special considerations for tables having function-based indexes in oracle 11g when using pscbo_stats?

We are facing performance issues in FIN 8.9 on PeopleTOols 8.52 after implementing pscbo_stats. Issues with queries using PS_RT_RATE_TBL - this table has function-based indexes. Statistics were required to be collected manually and removed from the pscbo_stats handling to resolve the issue temporarily.

Please advise if there is any logic built-in or required for tables with function-based indexes in pscbo_stats procedure/
