550 Access is Denied Error using FTP remotely on Sun Solaris 10

We are running 24x7 critical production Oracle environment running Sun Sparc Solaris. Due to some business needs, we have implemented 'Restricted FTP' by following the below Metalink notes.
How do I configure ftp anonymous, guest and "chroot" user access in Solaris 9 and Solaris 10? [ID 1012011.1]
Everything is done successfully and we are able to perform all the ftp activities (connect, upload/put etc.) on the LAN. Subsequently, our business user are able to successfully connect remotely (though internet) to the Sun Server using FTP but whenever they try to upload/put any file on the server, they got the following error:
