Email notificaiton on Purchase Requisition expiry

hi All,

would like to know if we have features in Oracle that will send email notification to PR approver upon expiry or if there's no action from the approver?

seeing this possible thru workflow background process (concurrent request) but only don't know the exact type to choose.

if anyone could provide me an idea or documentation of it so i could review/test and implement.
