HRMS 8.0 SP1 upgrade

HI All,

My customer is planning for an upgrade from HRMS 8.0 SP1 to HCM 9.2. I have 2 questions

1) What is the best upgrade path (set of paths ) to acheive this

- Based on my search in Oracle support, it looks like a 3 path upgrade - 8.0 SP1 to 8.9 MP1 -> 8.9 MP1 to 9.1 -> 9.1 to 9.2

- Any other shorter path available

2) The KM doc  - PeopleSoft Enterprise HRMS 8 SP1 to 8.9, Including Maintenance Pack 1 Upgrade [ID 749352.1] mentions that the certified upgrade path to 8.9 MP1 is with PeopleTools: 8.51.01 or higher ( that is the latest tools release certified)

- Does this mean you can go only to PT 8.51.x
