Using nVision Reports in HCM using trees and tree nodes

I am looking for assistance in getting nVision based reports to work properly in HCM.

I am quite familiare with how they work on the Finance side. We have set up an nVision layout that contains leave bank information that we want to run based on our Tree (i.e. Mangagers can see their staff, Directors can see everything below them). I've got report instances set up and attached e-mail addresses to those instances. I can set up scopes pointing to a detail value in our department tree, but I can not use summary tree nodes ( I get an error when using summary tree nodes)
