Invalid Rule Sets WF_NOTIFICATION_IN_R & WF_NOTIFICATION_OUT_R after Database Upgrade from 10.2.0.4

Hi,

We have just completed a test upgrade of our 11.5.10.2 E-Business Suite database from 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.3 and now have two invalid Rule Sets - but are unsure how to make them valid again.

MOS document 337294.1 gives the steps for fixing a longer list of invalid Rule Sets but this seems a bit of 'overkill' having to run all of that just for the two that we have.  I suppose my question is:

  • Is there another simpler solution other than that given in 337294.1 to fix just the two invalid Rule Sets that we have?
  • If we go with the solution in 337294.1, is it okay to run the whole solution that will also then affect those Rule Sets that are not invalid?
