Question for HCM 9.2 Demo database (installation)

We downloaded HCM 9.2 files from eDelivery and installed these and built the database using database setup under datamover .

The data mover script ran fine and created the HCM 9.2 demo database. After the installation I looked into pa_maintenance_log to find what version of Peopletools has come with 9.2 but ps_maintenance_log is empty (unusual compare to previous demos e.g. HCM 9.1). We already have tools binaries which are 8.53.02 (8.53.02 patch) but not sure exactly what version of tools 8.53 is part of 9.2.

Have we changed something in 9.2 for maintaining patches / updates which we used to do via maintenance_log ? Do I need to apply 8.53.02 patch to bring the demo database in line with 8.53 tools’ binaries or it is already at that level? When we apply a tools patch it enters a raw in ps_maintenance_log via pspatch.dms. Please advise.
