SSL configuration in master/ replica ODSEE topology

Hello all, I need to configure SSL in an ODSEE LDAP topology  including :
 -  Client applications
 - 7 masters
 - more than 20 consumers

The questions are :
 -  Do i need to install CA on each server masters/slaves ?
 - Can i install the CA on masters only ?
 - Can i use   SAN SSL to secure   over 12 servers ?
