trunk aggregation using LACP

Hi,
On M4000 server running Solaris 11.1, I would like to setup LACP trunk aggregation for onboard bge interfaces, bge0 and bge1.  This will be connected to Cisco 4506-E switch.
Will this Cisco switch support LACP wtih  load balancing policy L4.  I would like to get double the bandwidth by trunking two links.
Also what performance difference it makes if switch doesn't support L4, but supports L2.
