Databases for PeopleSoft Financials Upgrade

Hi,

Would anyone be able to provide some advice and guidance in terms of a database comparison for PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.53 (which we are looking to upgrade to)?

What are the benefits and drawbacks of running these applications on a Oracle database vs. a SQL Server database? We are currently running PeopleSoft Financials 8.4 and PeopleTools 8.47 on a SQL Server database but would be willing to consider moving to an Oracle database for an upgrade, if the upside of Oracle greatly outweighs the upside of SQL Server.
